So, this week was pretty interesting. We went to D´s house towards the beginning of the week and he had a mad fever.   He was so sick he could barely walk to the door. I wasn´t even going to go in, but he insisted.  We started talking, and he was so sweaty!   His body was so hot and the weather didn´t help!   But as we were sitting there talking he stopped sweating and went back to normal.   We finished up and left.  We went back the next day and he said he was fine while we were at his house but the second we left he went back to the way he was, all sweaty, diarrhea and vomiting. We were teaching the lesson and he stopped us in the middle and asked what ``that`` was.   I didn't know what he was talking about and he showed us.   It was Elder S little bottle of oil that he carries. We explained it and he asked for a blessing.   It was like he didn't know what that little bottle was, but somewhere inside of him he knew he needed it!   We gave him the blessing and all he said was, ``Eu creio`` (I believe)   It was awesome.   He told us if he didn't get better that night he would go to the Hospital.   I tried calling him that night to see how he was but he didn't answer.   I´m guessing he went there. So this week he wasn´t able to be baptized, but we will do everything we can to make it happen next week.
During all of this, after the first visit, Elder S got really sick, like the same thing D had.   It lasted for like two days, then I got it, two more days.  We didn't have much time to make a whole lot of new investigators, but we were able to take care of the ones we have.   We´re all better now!   The Zone Leaders called and said, out of all of the people marked to be baptized last week, four of them didn't happen due to that same sickness that we caught.   It was like a weird virus in the air.
I also did three baptismal interviews this week and all of the people passed and were baptized.   It´s amazing - the excitement in people’s eyes knowing they are doing the right thing, following the example of Jesus Christ, being baptized by someone that holds the true authority of God!   The two other Elders that live with us had a baptism and right before it started one of them grabbed a young women's hymn book and said we were going to sing a special musical number.. We sang, ``I feel my Saviors Love.``   I don't know how they talked me into that one..  But it worked out alright and the members said we didn't sound that bad after all.   Ha ha
I know this church is true and that we are doing the Lords work,
and I love it!
